Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G), rural families who are homeless or living in kutcha (temporary) houses receive financial assistance to build a pucca (permanent) house. How to check your status

  • Visit pmayg.nic.in and select the "Stakeholders" tab from the top menu
  • Choose "IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary" from the dropdown and enter your registration number
  • Without a registration number, use "Advanced Search" — select state, district, block, and panchayat, and enter your name
  • The status shows your name, house allotment details, PMAY ID, and financial support received

Eligibility and how names get added to the beneficiary list

PMAY-G beneficiaries are selected based on Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) data and Gram Sabha approval. New applications cannot be submitted directly on the portal — eligible families should contact their Gram Panchayat and Awas Sahayak to learn the process for getting included in the list.

Keep in mind: house-construction funds are released in three installments based on construction progress. If an installment is delayed, first check your bank account and Aadhaar linking, then contact the panchayat's Awas Sahayak.
