For financial year 2025–26, Bihar's MGNREGA daily wage rate is ₹245 (revised annually by the state government). Wages are credited directly to the worker's Aadhaar-linked bank account. Work is made available at the panchayat level — such as pond digging, road repair, and plantation drives.

Keep in mind: if work isn't provided within 15 days of a request, workers are entitled to an unemployment allowance. For delayed or missing wage payments, file a complaint at your Gram Panchayat or Block office.
